Morning gentlemen,
Great little delivery this morning of this lovely vintage coke insert. It was purchased to go on my 16710 (as it was advertised). I did wonder about the wear not being consistent with the age of 16710 bezel but bought it regardless.
Soooo.... when I tried to fit it, it wasn’t happening! I can only assume it’s for a later model, can anyone throw some light on this????

Take it to a watchmaker, he will fit it for you.
It may be flattened out..

The back profile is different to the Pepsi insert that was originally on, fairly confident it’s for a different model

This one is for a sapphire. The black and read was not available on the 4 digit reference.
Can you snap a pic of the pepsi? Could have been for a plastic model..

Nice pictures. I thought you said the back profile was what you were referring to...
Any pics of that?

The year of the model does not matter, if it is for a sapphire, it will fit.

Hard to tell from pics but the Pepsi back profile is steeper than the coke one.
