I don’t know, I doubt it has some importance.
Enjoy the watch.
Cheers

Sorry for the terrible quality. In first pic you can see the tag end of the ribbon you pull up. What pops out is the card like piece seen in pic 2 & 3. Nowhere can I find what it's purpose is and was hoping other Globemaster owners might know or have a theory. Odd that Omega would include something without saying what it is. Note the cloth bag on the right side.

I think the little card is just there to secure any loose springbars? Given the boxes Omega uses are mostly universal it might just be for another model?

I didnt manage to male perfect fit, so I fitted strap instead of bracelet

I'm the other way round. I ordered on strap but, in hindsight, wish I'd ordered on bracelet 🙁

Plausible. One of the "unboxing" videos suggested the spot was for storage of the warranty, etc. cards butthat doesn't make sense since the cards are already stored in the wallet.

I think the little section is too small for warranty cards surely?

Either way, mine does a grand job of securing loose bar ends 😀

The cards fit very nicely once out of the wallet but why would you do that?

My speedmaster racing came with a little tool to change the date but even that's too big

It's been id'd elsewhere as "polishing card" for minor scratches.

Ah I see thanks. So I just rub the card over the minor scratches?

I have both bracelet and strap. I have a 6" wrist, so pretty small, but it can fluctuate quite a bit. I got the bracelet to fit perfectly for most of the time, but if it's really hot outside, and my wrist swells, it can be a little tight. The strap fits comfortably, and I also got an extra hole punched for a bit more flexibility, so I can wear the strap anytime without concern as I can adjust it if needed. I'm happy with both.

Which strap did you get?

I got the charcoal grey alligator strap it came with, then got the bracelet afterwards.

I couldn’t get a perfect fit with the Globemaster bracelet, but the real issue with it in my opinion is the weight. It is a HEAVY bracelet with a cumbersome butterfly clasp. Complaints aside, though, it’s a great watch with a stunning dial.
I've never warmed to butterfly clasps, they are not very intuitive, but I suppose you get used to them.

Very Quickly.
