Globa (Cimier) sport crono from CHIPS tv series .

Hi all,
While was watching one of the first episodes of the CHIPS tv series, very popular during my childhood in 80s , I noticed the watch owned by Poncharello , one of the main characters.
Searching the internet I found that the watch is a Cimier Sport Chrono. I found it for about 200 euros and while it uses a very cheap movement with a plated case it gives me good vibes.
What do you think about it? Do you have some more info about this brand/ watch?




Addendum: the watch I found is a little bit different, without the outer bezel, the original one should be this one but it costs 100 euros more may be too much for such type of watch

Even cheap chronos are expensive to repair, and not much point in a watch that doesn't keep decent time/work right. I'm making it a point to stick with those worth min. of 500+, otherwise, it feels like I'm chucking good money after bad. But if you really love it, go for it!

Thank you very much for your replays. I pulled the trigger and the watch arrived yesterday.
On hands, it looks a lot better than in the photos. For now, it seems to work correctly even if it is only running for a few hours, let's see. The seller gave me a 30-day money-back guarantee so I have some margin to try it.
