·ABOUT THIS WATCH:
MANUFACTURER: Omega
MODEL: Seamaster
REFERENCE: 2846
SERIAL: 148xxxxx
YEAR: 1954
DIAL: The original black gilt omega dial has even spotting throughout. The spotting on the dial appears as small gray circles that is contrasted by the original black background. The spotting is more or less noticeable depending on the viewing angle and lighting situation. Definitely the harshest in direct sunlight. Macro photos also make it look much worse but I have included them anyways to illustrate the gilt lettering which I think looks wonderful. The dial features applied gold Arabic and dagger style hour markers and matching dauphine hands.
CASE: The stainless steel 34mm case is very strong. The original bevels on all four lugs can still be appreciated. The case sports a snap back caseback and original omega crown. The case presents with minimal to moderate wear depending on the location commensurate with its age. The crystal is unsigned.
MOVEMENT: The omega caliber 501. Automatic self winding caliber center seconds with 19800 A/h, 46h power reserve. The service history is unknown. The watch sets, winds and runs. It was timed over 24hr period. The 24hrs included periods of wear and non-wear and compared to atomic EST. Over 24hrs the watch lost 21 seconds.
BRACELET: Comes on a genuine leather strap.
ACCESSORIES: No.
BOX/PAPERS: No.
PRICE: $1,100 shipped CONUS via bank wire or zelle. Other forms of payment maybe possible pending discussion.
