Getting parts/watch face items for a manual Seamaster 105.005-67

Hi OMEGA Forum,
I have a very sad tale of my 1967 Omega I've had for over 30 years having gone to battle with an evil washing machine ...and lost.
The glass was a casualty but has been recovered, and the only actually lost items are a couple of the needle dials and metal time indicators that have come off the actual watch face.
My question is...as I know watch movement can be sorted out (or I think I know a man that can), is will the parts be obtainable?
Guidance will be hugely appreciated and I can post pictures of the current state if it'll help.

Can you please post pictures? I’m very curious to see the current state of the watch.

As ever, feedback welcomed and I hope the images help. Washing machines being ripped apart to see if I can find other missing components.

Have you opened the Caseback to let things dry? I Would think getting it dismantled for full movement clean and service would be time sensitive priority. But I’m not watchmaker

Assuming the watch was soaked in water your biggest issue isn't the lost hands, those will have to be replaced anyway, it's the water that got inside the case that is your issue. The watch needs to be serviced now, don't wait. As far as the lost indices are concerned, that could be a problem. Trying to find them in the washing machine is going to be tough, they may have already been flushed through the system and down the drain. Good luck.

The dial looks surprisingly good. You be able to find a donor dial with an ugly dial that has OK indices. If there was significant water damage you may be looking for donor movement as well.

I wouldn't worry about the dial/hands right now.
The critical thing is to get the movement attended to ASAP.
Water and soap residue must be removed before they damage the internals.

Dial and hands can be an ongoing restoration project at a later time.

Did I say ASAP?

Bag O Rice?

My uncle dunked a couple Nickons at family gatherings and they went immediately into the bag of rice on the way to the repair shop.

I think I have most of the parts to re assemble el-Rusto, but have not had the courage to chance the staff or vibrate the new hairspring. Not looking forward to forming the overcoil.

Dial looks clean now.... Straight to your Watchmaker. Today. Tomorrow latest...The missing indices will be found to replace eventually. Might be even manufactured from white Golf or brass and rhodium coated after that ... Good luck ! (Have a look into that Washing machine filter ... )

Absolutely agree and the watch will be with him tomorrow!

Many thanks for all the guidance and I'll let you know what the watchmaker suggests after he reviews the Scene of the Crime tomorrow.
My quick thought process is if the movement can be returned to fully operational, I just take my time and find the necessary parts to fully restore the watch as I'd not realised how much I valued it.

OP, do you have a "before" picture?

We had many instances of people asking how to get rid of stains/patina from their dials and the consensus is that stain removal is too risky, maybe you can try using a dust blower to remove superficial dirt but that's mostly it, no one ever thought about tossing the dial in a washing machine and maybe we've all been ignoring the most obvious answer to this puzzle 😝

Jokes aside, i hope the watch is now with a watchmaker and it comes back in good shape 😀

Omega Addict might be able to help. JB

I don't think he works on chronos, at least that was the case 5 years ago.
