Genuine Mitsukoshi Speedy - warranty card check

I have an opportunity to purchase what I'm told is a genuine mitsukoshi speedmaster.

I have attached a photo of the warranty card. I couldn't find any reference photos of what it should look like. Do any experts on here know if it's correct? I can't read Japanese either, does the text in the jeweller field indicate that it's from Mitsukoshi?

Additionally, I heard that genuine mitsukoshi has a hesalite crystal. This might be a stupid question but how would I tell that it's a hesalite crystal in person? I've only ever owned/handled sapphire watches.

Also does anyone know of any useful webpage that does a deep dive into the genuine mitsukoshi?

That says it's from the Hiroshima Mitsukoshi watch salon. So the card looks right. You'd need someone with access to extranet to check the serial to confirm it's a legit Mitsukoshi that's the quickest way.

The warranty card looks correct for this watch so it is probably legit. You can ask Omega to check if the serial number corresponds to the Mitsukoshi model. Hesalite crystals are very easy to determine, they are plastic and look, feel and sound different when tapped, plus they have the Omega logo imprinted in the center. As always, it comes to condition and price.

Would they do it even if I don't have the watch (ie before purchase)? Do I drop in to a boutique and just ask "hey can you check this serial number for me?"

The Mitsukoshi editions were equipped with Hesalite crystal. Are you asking how you tell by looking at a picture or once you have it in hand?

The book Moonwatch Only has a page dedicated to the Mitsukoshi edition. There's not much to the watch itself. It's basically a dial/hand swapped 3570.50. Serial # should be in the 77,08X,XXX range. 5340 code on the card.
