Gentleman skills to fix omega vintage.

I would like to ask experienced watchmakers and enthusiasts, Does it possible to just replace the hair spring balance with a generic one? Please. gentleman to comment if does it is possible. (I believe it is easier to synchronize using timergrapher machine).
Somebody did use this skill?! (Omega vintage parts are are increasingly rare to be found nowadays)

The sounds not good. It is being Very difficult to find a Hair spring for my. Stopwatch cal. 8300 (I am from Brazil)

Omega might have parts for this, but if not looking for a donor watch with a good balance spring is likely your best bet, but that will likely take some time...
