Hi everybody I bought a really nice Omega Geneve Ref.166.041 with blue dial head only. Unfortunately the crown was changed, so I would like to get the original one. Could somebody maybe tell me, what crown I have to look for ? As the watch came also without bracelet I m also interested, what kind of bracelet it had at the time produced and sold. Steel, leather or other ? Thanks a lot for your help and advice Andi
These entry level models such as the 166.041 usually came with a leather strap. It may or may not have been accessorised with a steel bracelet at point of sale. So any Omega bracelet with a lug width of 18mm would be a candidate, although you would need to choose the end pieces carefully to fit the bezel curve. Bracelet 1118 with 526 end pieces may fit. The 42054 crowns are still available at Frei & Borel. They are 4.75 mm in diameter to fit a 2mm crown tube. Cheers Desmond
