Mr. Mouse, I definitely feel the dial has been repainted, case heavily polished and I haven't seen those hands before.
Sorry this news is so late, did you buy it?

Some sellers feel that as long as the raw metal of the dial stays the same, it is an "original dial".

If you strip the paint off of the Mona Lisa but have the canvas, do you technically have the Mona Lisa?

All part of the mousetraps set for you out there!

Actually this is a legitimate design for a Geneve dial and I think its original.

The hands are another matter, they are incorrect and have been replaced.

Thanks UncleBuck. I didn't buy it, just watched the end of the auction, which was pretty entertaining.

I'd never seen a dial like that with those numbers.

Oh, and feel free to call me Mouse, although I answer to almost anything.

The Breguet style numerals didn't bother me, it was the "SWISS MADE" spacing.

If you get guidance from me and from Norman, X350 XJR, go with Norman every time!

These all printed dials don't always follow generally accepted spacing rules.

The overall crispness of the printing is what says original to me.
