·We’re drifting from the OPs question but I have conclusive evidence these are real. I remember seeing the blue one through some sort of official Omega channel. I feel like it was on their site. Also, I recall a newer member with a very nice collection joined and he had the blue one. See. Proof!

·For me it’s actually not about how they look—I’d never wear anything with jewels of any kind, so there’s no aesthetic difference to me between this and a bejeweled Patek and a gold-plated mall kart necklace full of quartz flecks: it’s all equally ostentatious and tacky.
It’s more just the concept itself. Taking a mid-level-luxury sports watch and rendering it into 6-figure bijoux. Why would anyone spend that kind of money on that kind of thing? I’ll never know and I think I’m fine with that.
