Gaskets for Pre Bond Seamaster

Hi guys,

I'm looking for a bit of help, I've got a seamster 200 from 1991 that needs new gaskets.

I've done a bit of digging and it seems there are just some generic gaskets I could use, but wondered if anyone had any experience replacing the gaskets or knew which specific part numbers I should be looking for?

Thanks in advance!

Quartz version, correct? If so...

Crystal gasket - 098EG2124

Case back gasket - 088NS0824

Crown doesn't call out a replacement O-ring (not uncommon) so implies the entire crown would be replaced - 069ST42113M.

Cheers, Al

It is a quartz,

thanks so much for your help Al!

Just for future reference, is there anywhere that’s a good source for this sort of info? Or does it just come with experience? I noticed you’re an Omega watchmaker

I have access to the Omega Extranet, soi can look this information up. The information isn’t public.

Cheers, Al

Hi Al,

I wonder if you wouldn't mind looking up the correct crown seals for a 166.077 Seamaster 200?

Cheers!

That's a Ploprof case number - is that what you are after?

Not really a "pre-bond" in the sense most people think, but the new crown for it is 069ST42062. No crown seals are listed.

(Resurrecting an older thread and @Archer' comment) That's the six-lobed crown for the first generation of 396.1042.

Any chance of finding the part number of the round crown for the second generation? (Picture below is of the automatic version, but the quartz version also changed crowns.)
