·I wanted to share this watch with the forum. It's unique enough to be interesting, and exceedingly rare. I'm also hoping some may be able to share their thoughts and/or any information they may have on the watch. I spoke with DragonDan prior to purchase and am thankful for his kind, informative replies.
Most information available for this watch can be found here: http://www.galletworld.com/gallet_watch_multichron_officer.html
On this site Gallet states that this model was available by special order for military officers and that less than 100 orders were filled.
Gallet USA was kind enough to return a call and after a nice discussion I sent photos of the watch and they offered to publish it on their galletworld website. For me, this felt like a heartwarming honor for a rare watch.
The dial is an off-white or cream color and I have not found another example with telemetre/tachymeter scales.
The movement is a 10 1/2 ligne, 23.35mm Valjoux 69 movement. Less than 4000 movements were made in total.
