Hello, I would like some help about this Gallet chronograph.

Nice watch, with the excellent Valjoux 72. Round pushers are a plus. Crown replaced? Hands look relumed. Movement unsigned?

I'd like a Gallet, but with an Excelsior Park movement.

 

Hands relumed for sure. Never wrong with s V72 but I prefer a Excelsior Park in a Gallet as well.

 

Movement should be signed!! Always a red flag. $1750 more realistic price...

 

Gallet's are fine little watches but careful of any premium for one with issues.

 

Movement should be signed and (in almost all of the examples that I've seen - though there might be some that don't do this) should also have a JXR stamped for US import. I've actually not seen one without thus far - have anyone of you?

 

Negative. I thought US import at the time required the JXR markings for Gallet?

 

Exactly. Hence curious if anyone has seen something to the contrary before.
