Woops
·Offered for sale today is this lovely example of the legendary Gallet Multichron 12 “Snow White” chronograph from the late 1960s.
Case: Looks unpolished with the chamfer lines around the lugs particularly sharp. 37.5mm wide (excluding crown) and 44mm lug-to-lug. Fully stainless steel, original unsigned crown, pump pushers, domed acrylic crystal and screw-down case back.
Movement: The legendary Excelsior Park calibre 40 (EP40). The watch has not been serviced in the five years I have owned it but is running smoothly. A fabulous appreciation of this special calibre, written by friends of the forum, can be found here.
Dial: Spotless white dial that shimmers in hand. All apparent marks are scratches on the crystal. Non-lume Arabic numerals with clean blued-steel stick handset. Widely hailed as a design classic.
My price is £4,000 for the watch head only. We are both in the UK. Shipping to be discussed but will probably be at buyer’s expense.
Thanks for looking and to OF for the space.
