Like my other listings of late, working on consolidating quickly to fund an unexpected grail. I haven't owned this piece for very long at all and it is the piece I will most of all of them almost certainly regret selling.

This piece was purchased from @sdre pretty much within hours of him posting it. It is a fantastic, exceptional, beautiful piece. Unfortunately, the grail I stumbled across recently is truly world-class and unexpected so this must go.

Before him, it was with @Mazoue, and I've used some of his photos along with my own, and the words of @sdre.

Taken from http://claremontvintage.com/shop/watches/ug_32/ ,

Ref H20217-4

Serial 1827527 (Circa 1956)

Dial: Black dial with gilt text and crosshair. Original lume plots and minute markers. Applied logo. Silver marker ring. Triangular lumed hands.

Case: 35.5mm. Huguenin Freres ‘HF’ stainless steel case. Bombe lugs. 19mm lug width. Signed crown. Case back with engraved logo and case reference and serial numbers.

Movement: Universal Geneve self-winding Cal 138ss ‘bumper’ movement

Condition/Notes: Rare original triangular hands seen only on later serials of this reference. Beautiful patina on this.

Watch runs really well. Second hands starts moving the moment I wind it.

I am located in the United States and travel to Europe regularly.

I'm asking for 1950 USD net to me, firm. I'll cover shipping. if you wish to work via paypal, please add 4.5% as the FX rates are horrible. Wires are fine too. I did recently notice that AnalogShift in NYC posted a similar piece for close to 5K USD so this is a steal.

Watch is sold head only.

Since people have been asking - I'm very focused on Rolex right now (I know!) and already hesitant to sell these so while a trade isn't totally out of the question it'd have to be a pretty exceptional trade to consider it!

I'm staggered that this hasn't sold already and with my beautiful photos too!

For anyone wondering, the triangular hands are absolutely original and correct for late examples of this reference. I've not seen them on any other Polerouter reference, which makes them all the more interesting and desirable in my opinion.

Good luck with the sale.
