Finally up for sale is this true Gem of a watch.
Worn hard and will give you goosebumps with all the adventure this watch has had.
Your wrist will never be the same.

Want to show those desk diver types at the office who is not a couch potato.... Boom

Snoopyish style blue bezel that everyone is looking for nowadays.

Sold head only ( I know but the NATO means a lot to me so that will be extra and I know it annoyed someone here a few weeks ago )

Runs well but I don’t really tell the time with it as time doesn’t exist where I live.

Picked our first pineapple wearing this watch

Recently Serviced about 5 years ago by @JimInOz ( was free but I have included the extra $400 for a bottle of scotch for him that I never sent him )

Hands have been relumed.
Case has never been polished. Probably eroded by life would be a better term to explain the case
Bezel has a scratch at 40 but very hard to notice
Dial replaced with a NOS one hence the listing as NOS
Crystal is see through

Picture before it was serviced

Again this has been my good luck charm for years resulting in several memorable fish being caught while this was strapped to my wrist

Now for the price. I have taken in all the experiences I have had with this watch and the current price of the Snoopy 3 on chrono 24 to come up with below. ( not forgetting the $400 for the $100 bottle of scotch I owe Jim and postage to Melbourne by a courier that doesn’t drink which is hard to find in Darwin )

$28,400.00US net to me.
Would prefer face to face locally but will ship at buyers expense.

References galore if you need them
Just PM

You would not believe some of the PMs I have received.

Why is it worth so much ? I don’t understand ?...

Since this watch is located in Australia, it would have been (obviously) running counter-clockwise all these years. This is (obviously) hard on the movement, so I understand why some folks would wonder why the price would be so high.

This is an old wive’s tail: the water doesn’t circle the other direction, and the watches don’t run the other direction.

The Australians do, however, wear their watches upside down, blind drunk, and directly under a hole in the Ozone layer - though, surrounded by the best sense of humor about it all

I wouldn’t characterize all their wives as being old, probably just dusty.

That’s why we are so good with Covid compared to the US and UK as most Australians are 60% alcohol by volume instead of water. And it’s recommended 70% alcohol products kills the virus

What? No final, final, final reduction? Then another final reduction followed by taking it down after 26 months of bumps and starting this thread again? I thought that was correct way to price rare and minty timepieces. Still learning!

I think he forgot he has it listed.
Croc ate the watch- he’s waiting for it to cycle through. Then it will be worth double!

Had plenty of offers,

Got some guy trying to swap it for a gold watch that was Peter Philips
Sounds like he is French or something as he keeps spelling Peter as Patek

I think you dodged a bullet. There’s been obvious fakes circulating, and glad you weren’t fool. What you should be looking for is actually named Patrick Phillips.

Good thing you have us to guide you along the way. If I didn’t just purchase a new Daniel Wellington Chronograph diamond paved tourbillion, I’d be all over this. GLWS.

Life of adventure without the internet

Life without the internet, that must be like living in the 1970s/80s again . Now that would be great 😀

Living in country towns in Australia sometimes feels like living in the 70s and 80s, internet or no internet 🙁
