Finally up for sale is this true Gem of a watch.
Worn hard and will give you goosebumps with all the adventure this watch has had.
Your wrist will never be the same.

Want to show those desk diver types at the office who is not a couch potato.... Boom

Snoopyish style blue bezel that everyone is looking for nowadays.

Sold head only ( I know but the NATO means a lot to me so that will be extra and I know it annoyed someone here a few weeks ago )

Runs well but I don’t really tell the time with it as time doesn’t exist where I live.

Picked our first pineapple wearing this watch

Recently Serviced about 5 years ago by @JimInOz ( was free but I have included the extra $400 for a bottle of scotch for him that I never sent him )

Hands have been relumed.
Case has never been polished. Probably eroded by life would be a better term to explain the case
Bezel has a scratch at 40 but very hard to notice
Dial replaced with a NOS one hence the listing as NOS
Crystal is see through

Picture before it was serviced

Again this has been my good luck charm for years resulting in several memorable fish being caught while this was strapped to my wrist

Now for the price. I have taken in all the experiences I have had with this watch and the current price of the Snoopy 3 on chrono 24 to come up with below. ( not forgetting the $400 for the $100 bottle of scotch I owe Jim and postage to Melbourne by a courier that doesn’t drink which is hard to find in Darwin )

$28,400.00US net to me.
Would prefer face to face locally but will ship at buyers expense.

References galore if you need them
Just PM

Will you trade for an Invicta? I'd go easy on the amount of cash you would need to include to make a deal.

I know it’s frowned upon to make critical remarks on a sales thread, but:

this is just a beater Speedmaster , with better examples had easily on eBay for a few hundred dollars (and will come with a strap at that price).

FIFY so you can post it on the next Speedmaster thread someone bought for $200 years ago that your all gushing about...... That will get a laugh from the speedy boys 😉

@STANDY I understand that you are trying to get to the larger international market here with going with “,” as decimal separator. On top of that you are trying to build legend around this honest, awesome and magnificent Seiko. You are almost there... If you would include insured and international shipment in this reasonable price offering, extract from this OF thread - print out obviously, fish from the ad, genuine and heavy Australian rock, a bag of red desert Australian soil, I am convinced that this legendary time keeper, who has seen the whole Australia - swamps, bottom of the oceans and deserts would be able to find someone to tell his story. I dare you to describe each instance with the vivid details of your surroundings, that you can remember, when this beautiful piece was honoring your wrist from the time it came into your possession until you decided to let it go for this fantastic price!

It would be like the good book, i would need 3 testaments. Droughts, plaques of locusts, trips into the desert for more than forty days and forty nights.......... you have already seen the fish that fed many followers

Very rare (limited edition) and sold out (impossible to find on secondary market).

The fish logo on the dial will bring you good luck.

Hahahahahaha! I didn’t notice the price in the headline but selling that watch is like selling your hand. Soon as I saw it I knew you were kidding.

I know sixty years ago is barely half your lifetime, and that back then wristwatches were considered a life-saving technical device, heavily subsidized by the government...

... but now, for us youthfuls, wristwatches are merely Veblen goods, valued on a scale ranging from Justin Beiber (best, obviously) to Michael J. Fox (bare minimum of cultural relevance), and the government now only subsidizes the healthcare of you and your drinking buddies

And your Seiko, sir, is no Justin Beiber

I would buy it, but given it's in NOS condition, I'd be too afraid to wear it.

The fact that you put Justin Bieber in a sentence scares me. 👎

And probably more of a Giffen good then a Veblen good I would say nowadays 📖

Im a Aussie health care is just a card in my wallet for everything like the rest of Australia. 👍

If trades are being considered, I have a vintage, unmolested, single-owner, drawer-find, Casio from 1992 that has never been polished or restored. Head only, with original spring-bars, but unfortunately, no box or papers. The original crystals has pock-marks from weld splatter when I was a truck mechanic in the early 90's.

Note, that although tempted, I avoided the term Calatrava, which according to recent threads, should only be applied to one, particular brand.

My son has reached the end of his useful (to me) life. Still has good muscles. Does yard work and cleans toilets. I can add 3 cans of fine maple syrup from Quebec.

Please contact me via Public Forum if interested.

I see a lot of people are discussing / searching for this ...and so no surprise I see, following the latest release from Omega, that someone is now offering a plastic fake Milky Ring....and yes they are open to offers ...

Let’s leave Dennis out this. It’s already too complicated.

You mentioned him, not me! 😕

I only brought a squirrel. 🍿

Yeah. Maybe we’re restarting the late 50’s color palate. All the best turquoise cars are mid to late 50’s.
