    Hi everyone,
I was really on the fence about making this sales post, been thinking about it for weeks. But I finally decided to make it and see how it flows.

So I traded from a local friend & collector a 145022-71. What's funny is that he initially wanted me to help him sell it, then I ended up liking it a lot so that I traded for it. I think it looks nice overall, though the patinated dial is a hit or miss depending on the person. I normally tend to not favor ghost bezels most of the time but I think on this one it goes well.

I had it for a while, and I really bonded with it. But over time I realized that it sort of doesn't fit my collection direction right now, and as this coincided with some family events that made me a bit conscious of my recent trade. So I decided I need to steer away from this for a while, and return to the world of nice 022s at a later time.

The previous owner is primarily a Rolex guy but he does have some omega as well, and that means he's not so obsessively strict about the accuracy on speedys. (It does explain why he thought the ghost bezel was attractive though) As far as I can tell there are no major reference accuracy issues, but please feel free to comment what's wrong with it and I'll reflect that. My friend is okay with me selling it. Though he is kind of sad to see it leave my hands, he is relieved at least the good crew at OF is going to be taking it on.

I was told this watch was serviced by the watchmaker he always uses and when I wore it, it did run & work with no issues. But now that I've opened it up I can see it's not the shiniest movement out there.

    Here go some pics:

As for the price I'm no expert but I wonder if 4000 USD would be fair (with some of sp101's help). The patinated dial is a hit or miss, but I think the ghost bezel might make up for some of it. Returns are OK if I have misrepresented grossly wrong. I have references I can supply from OF since I've bought from several members here.

I hope my post has explained sufficiently my motivations for selling and some details about the watch. Any comments/criticisms/compliments are welcome and please let me know. I will comment/adjust accordingly.

    Thank you all!
