I picked this up in a trade the owner was a retired watch maker and is running Damn good for a 90 year old watch. The case is a dennison hallmarked Birmingham 1922 the movement is 5.6 million so dates from 1921-22 so all is genuine. The porcelain dial is flawless and the blued hands are perfect. The movement is spotless and runs strong. the case is the rarer screw on back and front type. The edge of the case has a great milled edge that really looks effective next too the smooth glass ring. The case has only minor wear with a few dings here and there but if I look this good at 95 years old I'll be happy. The case is a very chunky 50mm across and 70mm high including winder and chain ring. Amazingly the case back hasn't been engraved either. The glass has some surface marks and scratches but again nothing major. Sadly the watch chain pictured isn't included in the sale (family heirloom) Considering its condition and the fact it's running so well I'd like to thing this wonderful time piece is worth £295 shipped in the UK. Some pictures of this beauty.
