So, have to think carefully about budget
You get Ultraman? And now looking for a new piece? Look what this hobby do to our wallet?! ::facepalm1::::facepalm1::
*I also just get my Ultraman and now looking for another, probably a SMP*

Yeah, I am looking for daily rocker. I would like to try the smp too. Unfortunately the new doesn't arrived yet.
I think the Ultraman is to special for wearing it daily.

I have tried the blue one. Not really my fav color, but the watch itself has solid build. Looking forward to seeing the black dial in bracelet at AD.
I share the feeling for Ultraman. I am using my GS HiBeat GMT and my Connie for daily now, but I feel the Connie is also too special as a daily beater, thus looking for SMP

I have the SM300LE and between it and the Explorer there is no way in the world I'd part with the SM.

It's a wonderful watch which when you boil it down is just another cardinal numeral dial style watch just like the Explorer.

The broadarrow hands on it are truly the most legible of many styles I have seen and owned. It's case size is perfect and it has a wonderful mix of tooly bling.

It's I think an important piece in Omega's new era and I also think many will be surprised by how collectible it will be in a few years.

Some might argue the same for the Explorer versions but I suspect there would be many more of those around than the SM300LE. I wouldn鈥檛 sell mine for an Explorer but I would plan to add an Explorer at some point in the future.

Yeah, I think I will not sell the watch anymore. Maybe just add something for daily. A Explorer or a BB 58 or a SMP. Something which is not so special and better for daily activities with kids and so on

I understand your way, and I too have some watches I wear rarely to preserve them.

But the beauty of the SM300LE to me is that it is precisely the sort of watch that will be enhanced with signs of wear. It's really the only thing missing from having a true vintage looking piece on your arm. That's why I wear mine with no problems at all in any situation. Any scuffs etc are hard earned because I do everything I can to keep it blemish free so each mark is an event.

I already have a mark or two on the clasp bevel and already it feels even more comfortable. It's an awesome daily wearer imo.

Hope I can try a Tudor BB 58 in the future. Had someone experience with the watch. I think for the price it's a great watch.

Hi everybody,

I am owning a seamaster 300 60th limited edition. I know it's a awesome watch. But I am a little bit unsure about the fake lime and the readability is not the best.
I am thinking about to sell it for Rolex Explorer 214270. I know that are completely different watches.
Looking forward to your opinions.
I'd love to see this Seamaster released with white/green colored lume. The faux patina look just doesn't do it for me. Did you decide to pull the trigger on the Ex1?

Not yet. A little bit unsure. Would like to try the bb58 too. Yeah, the faux patina had to white/green. Or like the did with Ultraman. Looks much better

I just pulled the trigger on an Explorer. Will post pics when it comes in. Really excited about this purchase. Perfect all arounder, imo.

Explorer Rules. If you want to stick with Omega, the 2000s version of the Railmaster, which also looks great, with an option for a black or brown alligator deployment strap.

Yeah, I actually got rid of a Sub, Explorer II and 36mm DateJust all in favor of a 2500 series Aqua Terra that I wear every day (would've gone Railmaster, but really wanted a date.) There's something "just right" about their proportions and subtlety, and their vibe really straddles the line between vintage and modern. Of course, the same could be said about the Explorer, but I'd choose that model in 36mm, and I prefer being a little more under the radar with Omega.

Almost has a Panerai vibe...

I have more Omegas than Rolex. But the Explorer is a winner. I like the understated look and legibility. You cant go wrong with either but in the end you go with what you really like ! Congrats !

The new watch arrives tmrw. The OP of this thread actually got me interested and when I tried one on a few weeks ago I knew I had to have it. Convinced my wife it was a perfect anniversary present for our 20th (next week)...got her the Leica camera she's always wanted, so it's a win-win 馃榾
