Thank you. The key is finding the 1-owner rigs that an engineer, or somebody with massive OCD, owned. I got mine from somebody like that who only sold it to buy a 200-series, and had good luck helping two other friends pick up 100-series from these types of owners. You're gonna have to be patient and wait them out, be ready to buy when they come up for sale, but that's also nothing new in the Land Cruiser world as you are well aware I'm sure.

BTW one of my favorite parts of the 60 is that lovely lined interior fabric. Did the 62 still get this?
I wish the 100 came with a non-leather option in the US. The only sounds I hear when driving are the squeaks of the leather.

This was from a long drive last Sunday. I love this thing, every bit as comfortable as any modern car, but with the style and grace a 58-year old vehicle should have.

On the way home from tennis Wednesday, and happen to look down and see the odometer had hit 10,000 kms spot on. Couldn't take the photo while driving and no place to pull over, so snapped this when I arrived home...

Little over 3 years old, so as you can see I don't drive it much, in particular during the pandemic...but every km had been fun so far.

Currently my daily driver, a 1984 Volvo 245 Turbo with a 4 speed. Just as fast as a 427 Corvette. Currently has over 400k miles on the original engine.

Friends' car. Never been registered. It's been a track car since it was bought from the dealer.

Saw this yesterday while I was getting a coffee. I glanced at it 3 or 4 times before I realized what it was. You don't see these in the wild very often.

10,000 kilometers, how much is that in dog years?

Spent last Wednesday driving this toy.

Some 200 miles of Swiss mountain roads. This thing is mental ! 😵‍💫

Incredible car, amazing experience. Totally overkill on open roads but still... Hell yeah !

Bought my wife a new car - 2021 Subaru Ascent Touring with class III hitch, so she can pull a decent camper in style. Her 8 yr old Tribeca had a 2000lb towing limit, and with 134,000 miles I didn’t want her pulling a camper through I-70 in the mountains.

She will rent campers until the end of next year when we have my 2017 WRX paid off. Our daughter’s 2018 Grand Cherokee will be paid off in June. My son’s 2015 Forester XT is already paid off (all in our name though). So, when we’ve paid off all but one car in 2021 we’ll pick up something like a Winnebago Micro Winnie, or a 21’ Coleman.
