I haven’t had my 2008 Cayman S out in a while but yesterday I had to drive to Rolliworks in San Jose (Campbell) and pick up my watch from getting worked on. Its 91 miles from my place in Petaluma CA there, and had a great drive. On the way down I had a spirited stretch with a some kind of Lexus sports car that I had never seen before, and a Jaguar on highway 280. Admittedly, we exceeded the speed limit a bit getting up to 90mph playing follow the leader. Ran in to see Sal, and picked up the watch, and blasted off again. Came home on the east bay route and drove next to a 1960 Ferrari painted bright orange. That was an amazingly beautiful car. We too shared a few miles of spirited driving before he exited by the Chevron refinery. Once I was in Marin County, a guy in a 986 Boxer the same color as mine pulled in behind me and we blasted off on a nice drive with me in the lead most of the way until we came upon an older couple in a brand new Cayman GTS that was bright red. The three of us drove along for a few miles and the red car took the lead until I got off the highway in Petaluma. Great fun!

    Friday bump.

An order has been placed. It is very sensible.
    Now we wait.

Thanks X350! One of the great sections of track - like Eau Rouge, Paddock Hill and Casino Square down to Mirabeau (over that bump).

Not the actual car as back in the early eighties business was taking off and little time to think of taking photos of cars.
Same colour and with the new at the time digital dash, neighbours must have loved us as many mentioned that there windows used to rattle when I started it up :D
I well remember first service and being charged about £10 per spark plug
