I helped build a 914 with a 283 4 bbl chevy in it once but it just doesn't rain Porsche's here in Houston, most are owned and they won't let go till there trashed. now that 914 with mid-engine 283 was fast we built in the 80's used the 5 peed with an 11-inch chevy truck clutch. When it got traction it could catch and pass anything at the time it had about 300 horse and nowadays that's lame. I'm feeling poor around you guys Seems I need a Porsche and a Skydweller you guys should set up a go fund me page for poor old strick9😗

Fun to drive, until you give it a little too much power or brakes in a downhill corner and the ass end becomes the front.

Ever hear of the Tatra?
A Czech sport coupe that was so unstable that when the Germans captured a bunch of them in WW2 they banned their officers from driving the car after a dozen or more fatal accidents. At wars end the SAS found the Tatra was much more stable in high speed turns if they lifted the rear seat and stuffed a bound and gagged captured war criminal in the hidden luggage space when going through East German check points.
