Noticed the same about Pinterest. Does that help the site in any way?

Also noticed that when viewing the latest content, all sales posts have an "Article" tag, which doesn't appear when viewing the threads individually:

The Pinterest thing does help the site a little as people who see a watch they didn't know about are able to click through from that to see the thread on this site about it, we’re just testing the implementation of it at the moment to see how it works and whether it could be useful.

It’s been available by clicking on the … and clicking share on a post since the beginning of the site in 2011, it just wasn’t obvious to most people and it often didn’t get attributed correctly to the post and user which was a bit of a bummer since there are some that have 10,000+ views there but don’t link back to the correct location on this site at all, this new implementation was meant to make correct attribution and link placement work but it is a bit annoying in current form, we might need to look at putting it in the light box or something so it’s more subtle.

The article thing is because we’re also testing a more intuitive layout for sales listings in the background which I can’t show you yet or the Canadian will get angry but it looks pretty sweet. Originally the layout he was using for that was for articles and it just hasn’t been renamed so that’s why it’s showing up like that, he’ll hide the label tomorrow since it’s a leftover from that.

Yeah, I'd pushed a few other updates and it came along for the ride. It's gone now. It's something we'll be adding soon, but in a more refined state.

Noted, but do keep in mind that people are already pinning all our stuff. Part of what we were testing is making sure the owner/source is linked and attributed properly when images get saved there.
