Bought this French cased constellation on eBay and was quite nervous because of the terrible pictures. after changing the terrible bracelet I’m really happy about it. I love the patina! But: needs a service! The crown is shaky. Unfortunately it couldn’t hold the time although the last service was 2017 any recommendations for service in Germany or Switzerland? Kind regards
The dial patina is just wonderful ! and I really like these over-sized stars ! Typical of the french cases. Seems you haven't opened it yet ? A bit risky if you don't have the appropriate tools... I'm just a bit worried about you saying that it does not work properly despite a service in 2017 ; this could mean that there is some really wrong with the movement. Keep fingers crossed for you !
