·Case back inidicates that this is a Seamaster reference 14389-1. Serial number dates it to 1961 which would be within the range for this reference. I have seen this reference without the "Seamaster" text on the dial. I have seen this reference with a small seconds crosshair, which is common. BUT, I can't ever recall seeing this reference with hour indices with onyx inserts or a full crosshair dial. Owner claims that it's the original dial. Repainted? Transplanted from another reference? What say you, OF Seamaster experts?
