Found the original box

After a heap of research, I found a timber box for mt SM 300, in all places, Japan, fair price and on my desk a week after paying for it. Now, I still need to find the blue bezel, not having much luck really.
I got to thinking, has anyone ever done the definitive work on which watch belongs with what box? I found mine by heaps of time with Mrs Google, yes it is a she, why because she knows everything and is always right.

After I bought my older Speedmaster Professional, I asked the watch dealer to keep an eye out for the matching style of watch box that originally came with my watch and to let me know if one comes available. He responded with "I happen to have one of those boxes".

So, being the savvy sophisticated watch kind of customer I was, I responded with "I'll take it!".
Of course, then I asked "By the way, how much is it?" 😀

In the end, I am thankful to have the box.

I believe it is a 1968 watch box for my pre-Moon Speedmaster Pro (145-022-68-ST).

I found this link on the internet that describes the Omega watch box.

The box says "Omega Pat. Pend." on the bottom of it.
