Hi,

recently I've bought a very nice (you can see it here: https://omegaforums.net/threads/opi...logos-on-vintage-watches.132949/#post-1804479, scrolling down a little bit) Omega Cosmic, coming with an uncomfortable leather strap.
I've bought a generic steel bracelet, but immediately started to look for an original Omega steel bracelet.
I've studied and lurked around, discovering for my Cosmic (166.036), the possible bracelets and end links:

Bracelet 1068 with 523 end links code
Bracelet 1125 with 636 end links code
Bracelet 1098 with 526 end links code
Bracelet 1172 with 579 end links code

Today I've found a very good offer on eBay, and I got the 1068, which was my first choice.
Now I'm looking for the 523 end links, but I'm struggling to find them anywhere on the Internet. I've sent a message to Omega, asked to my watchmaker and post some messages on groups around, hoping to find a couple of these end links.

I'm lookin for an advice on this research: shops/sites where to look, Omega part number, etc.
Thanks to all for your attention and for your possible kind help!
Stay safe you all.

From the lack of any suggestion, I'm in a big trouble, I suppose! 馃

I have recently faced similar issues in connection with a couple of Omega bracelets. In my case, it was a matter of setting some eBay searches and one of the items appeared after several months. In another instance, I bought a full 1039 bracelet in order to get the end links. I plan to re-sell the bracelet minus end links. The general rule seems to be catch-as-catch-can.

Hi @Clelow and @Passover, I had the solution close. I was searching on the web, and here inside the forum. I was searching with string "omega 523 end links" or "523 end links". This morning I realized that I should wait for a long time, and - being the search with no results - I took a look inside the https://omegaforums.net/forums/watch-parts-accessories-for-sale/ part of the site.
I've learned that
(1) I didn't try with "end-links"
(2) I should always look directly, the number 523 was on a picture, not text!

In a few words, I've found them, thanks to @Fatcat, who send them immediately (I'll receive them next week).

Hi all, I wanted to finalize this post with the job completed. It took me weeks to make it, but finally I managed to combine the a nice watch with a bracelet of the same era.
In these following pictures, the result.

Excellent job and just shows that diligence and patience are rewarded. I think Cosmics are great watches - I briefly owned a similar Meister-signed Cosmic, with a slightly different case shape, but I never had it on a bracelet.

Wear in good health!
