Nice box! It has a fairly slender groove so possibly a woman's watch?

 

I know right!? Its so slender, it almost looks like a pen box as opposed to a watch box.

 

I had a ladies universal geneve movement that I sold that would fit the groove. They sure made small ladies watches!
