I would say it looks good to me, however, should the lack of ‘SWISS MADE’ be an issue?

Be careful with black dials!!! Especially when you just started!

You did well with that first one but you won't be so lucky with a black dial. 99.5% of black dial Seamasters of the De Ville type are redialled and some of them are very convincing. 50s Seamasters are a better bet but still a minefield.

Oh ok, thanks for the warning. What early model omega would you recommend? I really want one with a black dial or one that looks like the one used in Lala Land.

just a detail for general culture. The only thing I see that is not original is the swan neck of the regulator that, on the 565 has a little round shape at it's end. thos with no "ball' is on 552 ie. This has absolutly no effect on the work of the movement.

No not really. It's not based on the caliber because the original 563 and 565's had what the OP has on his watch (without the "ball"), so IMO it's not necessarily incorrect. Over time the part was changed to have the ball on it and now that is the only version you can get.

I'm not a 100% certain. It's just that 99% of the 565 had one and 99% of 552 for instance had not. But you're right this is nit an exact sicence.

I'll be mind full of that detail in my next purchase. A lot of seamasters available near me, just not the ones i'm looking for.

Unfortunately that model is one that dozens of new collectors seems to want. Real ones are extremely rare but there are plenty of redials pushed as original by unscrupulous sellers. I cannot recommend another model to you as it is a matter of your personal taste not mine. I can however confidently say that if you are determined to buy an LLL Omega in the near future, you will get stung. Not what you want to hear perhaps!

Why not live with the nice one you've just got for a while, read up on here to learn what's what, and see what you think in a few months time.

Can you post a photo at a different angle so we can see the "swiss made" at the bottom? It otherwise looks pretty good to me
