Forum layout upgrade differences

Had noted a minor change in the members layout stats with fewer member entries per category.
For example fewer people listed for: most posts, most likes ( highest reaction score) and most followed.

There should be a See More button which expands at the bottom of each column which gives the same number as before, we might look into getting it back the way it was before without the See More button after dealing with more serious bugs but it should still work that way for now

Dammit- I need to work harder to get into that top list.
Some of us are just trying not to get reported.

Is it just me, or is the new system running much slower than it used to?
For me and in testing it’s slightly faster but right now we have all of our caching and optimisation turned off because Trev is pushing out updates each day to fix bugs and we don’t want those being missed. Once it’s mostly sorted we can turn those on again

For me it’s running faster (iPad with Chrome). The photos, especially the avatars, are looking sharper as well

Feels faster here on my mac mini running Firefox.

One of the smoother major upgrades I have experienced. My workflow is pretty much the same. The only thing odd is that the unread posts are highlighted with a gray background. So I keep thinking those are the read ones. Without separation they also look a bit crowded. Of course like my new tooth crown, once I get used to it, will feel normal.

Now if enable dark mode was enabled for tier 1 users ...

... and still patiently awaiting Tissot sub forum. (but get the nits out first.)

The similar threads suggestions are also a bit strange at times:
Are these custom to each user?

The Similar Threads section is picking up keywords from the title of this thread to make those thread suggestions, which seem to be “differences”, “forum”, and “layout”.

Maybe I'm an isolated case but after a good few days of use, the new upgrade is very slow for me, frequently freezes and crashes and when i open multiple omegaforums tabs my fans kick in on my macbook. Very odd. Never had this before, and don't have it on other websites. I'm using chrome.

I like it... haven't been here too much lately so this was a nice surprise.
Where'd the Porn Sub-Forum go though?

That might be ads loading, we’re also not fully optimized yet in terms of caching as Trev is still pushing out daily updates at the moment. We’re going to talk to our ad agency about some improvement in that area to reduce layout shifts and load related to that as they had to act rather quickly when we were about to go live.

It’s hard to support Windows 10 Phone as even Microsoft stopped supporting it 4 years ago, it’s a bit of a dead end unfortunately

Yeah, I've been waiting patiently for Microsoft to reinvigorate their cancelled Windows Phone development.

Even though they permanently cancelled it Microsoft constantly contradicts itself by starting projects which usually dead end but right at the moment with the developments of Windows based systems and ARM processors I am kinda expecting a reversal in the decision and them possibly doing a full Windows version SmartPhone.

So long as they can find another sucker cell phone company to let dangle when it all goes tits up and they abandon it yet again.
