I’ve always seen them as a hybrid of the gmt and the sub which is why they may be seen as an orphan in the middle. I personally find them very appealing with the silver bezel. And hollow endlinks are awesome! Jingle-jingle

ALL of my watches are “high end,” but sometimes I enjoy slumming it with the lower echelon OF members like JW and Fred. Remember, it’s not a lie if YOU believe it.

 

I at one time thought I had High-End watches, then I discovered the true deep side of the pool and realized my "high end" is someone else's beater. (Its all relative) So yeah, its a -you know it when you see it/if you have to ask it isnt- kinda thing here I think.
