If you have to ask, you don’t belong.
I don't know. Generally speaking, If he's asking, he has goodies.
Tell me I'm right @kohster. Lets see those Pateks.

He's tiptoeing into an Omega forums with 3 dozen Pateks. We won't hate you, promise.

Ohhhh, those should go in the Rolex Sub-forum too!

Hmmm … and here I thought you might be interested in a birth year wideboy sigma dial 1603, but apparently you are too busy mocking Rolex. 😉

I agree: My new Tritium will arrive this Thursday 😁:

I think the older Exp II’s are the last “bargain” left in the sport line-up.

Exactly! And can still be fished (pardon: found 😉) in original condition. These classic black ( I like the silver hands and lume dots)Tritium-Models 16570 have a high quality (ok, the end links are not solid) and they will never be unfashionable. Some say :an ideal invest on the wrist. Some: poor mans 5513. I agree with both 😁

I’ve always seen them as a hybrid of the gmt and the sub which is why they may be seen as an orphan in the middle. I personally find them very appealing with the silver bezel. And hollow endlinks are awesome! Jingle-jingle

Perhaps we should combine the Rolex and Steinhart threads in that sub-forum. Maybe even cross-link the Seiko Submariner mods. Nothing pisses people off, who take themselves too seriously, more than being lumped in with the hoi-polloi
Hey, leave Hoi out of this! (@hoipolloi )

ALL of my watches are “high end,” but sometimes I enjoy slumming it with the lower echelon OF members like JW and Fred. Remember, it’s not a lie if YOU believe it. 😁

I at one time thought I had High-End watches, then I discovered the true deep side of the pool and realized my "high end" is someone else's beater. (Its all relative) So yeah, its a -you know it when you see it/if you have to ask it isnt- kinda thing here I think.

My Seawolf will kick your Ranchero’s ass and leave it crying in the girl’s bathroom.

Yeah, but Ranchero will have the last laugh when it gives your Wolf the Radium Girl touch, 25 years later BAM!

Maybe so, but my Ranchero will totally irradiate your Seawolf and cause its hands to melt. You know, kinda like that Rolex in the NASA tests. Oops, Dave beat me to the punchline!
