What would you chose based on similarity with omega original ? Polished ? Brushed?

I have got both - flat with comfort extension links and fully brushed and brushed/polished with the milled clasp. They have totally different appearance and style. First one is noisier and thinner with vintage appeal , latter is more modern and luxurious looking. Both are great though.

I had the fully brushed on my 3861 for a few days and never fell in love with it. I think I would have preferred the brushed/polished version.

I had the fully brushed on SM300 WatchCo and somehow it didn't grow in me. But once I changed it with the updated clasp and polished/brushed links and it completely changed the whole appearance of the watch.

I had precisely this experience with my FOIS. The updated clasp alone makes a significant difference.

Also, shout-out to @Dimitar Adamski for superb photos that make a whole lotta words here superfluous.

I went with the Contemporary Flat Link brushed/polished for my Cal.2500 SMP 300. My only regret is that I didn't do this sooner than I did. I actually don't mind the OEM 5-link bracelet, but its lack of any type of micro-adjustment capability meant that my watch was uncomfortable most of the time. The Forstner clasp has seven adjustment points.

Polished-outer/brushed-middle is the original style (a better looking).

I’ve had the original with expanding links and pressed clasp as well as the more modern milled clasp. I kept the latter. More comfortable.
