Rich energy tried to buy Force India and then almost sponsored Williams before a last minute change to Haas.
I have never heard or seen anything to suggest Grosjean has any influence or strong ties to the company. Seems very unlikely.

Exactly, Rich Energy had nothing to do with him. Haas found their main sponsors themselves. Maybe Magnussen also brought some sponsor money with him (we will have to check to get the answer), but Grosjean or Hulkenberg don't. They were both very clear several times about it

Couldn't a car repair company sponsor him? It would fit very well.:whistling:

It seems as though my point was lost. Rich energy is nothing, vaporware. Yet they have their name on an F1 car. Phillip Morris still sponsors Ferrari. Point is the whole marketing thing is a huge enigma, and I doubt anyone on this board or any other truly knows what is going on when it comes to sponsors.

There have always been drivers that pay for their seats and it is not hard to find out who.

You can usually see it in lap times.

Leclerc is improving with each race, and Ferrari seem to also be growing in confidence.

It’s great to see MB and HAM being challenged for pole and race wins.

Ferrari management bringing the lol again. I guess it doesn’t matter who’s in charge. It’ll always look like a clown show.

Do you think anybody has told Ferrari that everybody else can hear team radio?

I don't really see what Ferrari could have done differently.

Well apart from get Vettel to sacrifice his engine to get back to the pits. But true to form Vettel only thinks about number one, team orders are for his teammates only.

Ferrari could’ve just let them both race instead of coming up with some prearranged plan to swap.

Same could be said of Charles at Monza in Q3 when he refused to go out and lead the pack like Vettel did on the first run. They’re both even now in terms of screwing each other over.

Time Vettel accepted he’s not the talent he was, Leclerc is the better driver , and they work together for the benefit of the team. They’ll not take on the might of MB with Vettels attitude. Botas isn’t always the best wing man, but he does a pretty good support job 90% of the time

    "Bring back the ***** V12's"

Agreed man, agreed. Well, for the sound at least.
Lucky Lewis with another win lol.
They seriously are the luckiest team on the grid.
I mean, you definitely have to be in the right place at the right time, and there is no denying that more often than not, they are.
    But still lol.
Hard to be a Ferrari fan right about now.

This team orders thing is now bordering on a choreographed race. So you give back a place because as 2nd and you draft past your team mate at the start. Do you work back from the final lap to work out who would draft & DRS each other in turn so that you got the right result at the end? Your turn Charles! To me Seb! Just bloody get on with it Ferrari.

Mercedes does have a great car, competent management, a great driver and a good driver who get along, and smart engineers. Ferrari has most of these things.

Of course when the Ferrari clown show appears, Mercedes will usually be the first to capitalize.
