·About 5 years ago, I found this original Constellation Box on eBay. I think I paid about $100 for it at the time. When it arrived, the smell of must and mildew was so strong that my wife wouldn’t allow it in the house. So I placed it in an airtight plastic container with several rags soaked in vinegar, and then put the sealed container on a shelf out in the garage.
While cleaning the garage a few weeks ago, I came across the container. After letting the watch box air out in the sun for a day, the musty smell was gone, and I’m finally able to keep my 1952 Bumper in it now!View attachment 1271210
