Here is my latest quartz watch. Pretty interesting technology behind this one. The green bezel is cut out from the door of an old train that was used on the gottard line.(Image taken from the internet as I don't have mine with me)

This one is mine. Got a period correct shark skin strap for it. It got quite a bit of attention when I wore it.

My SMP quartz is so accurate, its cheap to service and I can put in in my watch box wear it only when I want to and its running on time no need to reset. its thin on the wrist so I never have a problem with sleeves getting stuck on it. I love my Omegas. Don't get me wrong I love my mechanical omegas but my quartz has its place in my collection and certainly gets its wrist time. it has battle scars, as you can see, each one has its story, I lost the lumen in the Bezel during a dive off of Aruba, I knocked it on some fire coral, It was me or the watch, my Omega took one for me that day. The scratches on the bezel at 22 were caused by me running too close to ice on the Jungfrau in Switzerland. the crystal has a scratch that I caused in Singapore at the grand prix 2015 I can`t remember how that happened all I know is it wasn't there before and it was after. My quartz omega may not be your choice and even seem ugly too you but to me its beautiful every mark has a story and I sit at home on a winters day sometimes I see a scar on it and think of the day it was caused.

My new "The Cittizen". Let me tell you I never thought my watch collecting would lead me to buy a Citizen. This watch is very high quality and has a dial I really like. I would say it is pretty close to Grand Seiko level.

And above in some respects, like the independently adjustable hour hand. Nice! 👍

I’ve only got one Quartz - I think it’s pretty cool! Seiko 7a28 Yacht Timer- I love the way the 7a28 functions and I particularly love the looks of this one.

Well my 8j56 based Grand Seiko has the adjustable hour hand. I just now read on how the newer GS quartz dropped that feature, not sure why as it kills the accuracy if you have to change the hour hand by stopping it.

I am not yet a member of the club, but I am definitely thinking of joining and getting this eccentric design from GS (SBGX091, now 291) ...might not be to everyone's cup of tea, but I think it looks very cool and modern. Shame the SBGX291 is only available in Japan. So I will either have to wait for a return trip to Tokyo or purchase online (which I dread).

I can highly recommend Seiya for purchases in Japan. I have had 2 great dealings with him and he has decent prices. Just drop him a message and tell him what you would like. That is a beauty of a GS

Yep, I've had a few 8J56 GS's and they were great. Also, not having the independent hand doesn't so much kill the accuracy, just a convenience factor when traveling.

I'm sure Timeless in Frisco, TX could get a hold of that if you asked. I love that model, kind of has that Ingenieur look to it while still maintaining all the expected finishing of a GS.

I have some friends that are deep into these and it got me looking at them too. Very understated quality and precision. It is a lot like "you either know or you have no clue". I really like the "floating" name and model text/script - it gives such nice life to the dial with its moving shadows.

Here is another of my Quartz, great everyday unit.
CitizenTitanium Eco-Drive Watch. Comes with nice leather band but I bought used and needed not to wear that band. Plus Nato band cooler in summer
