Are discounts possible on a 5711 or not really?

Certainly not, at least not on the blue dial version. Patek has waiting lists years long for that watch and it often sells for over MSRP on the secondary market.

Got it to work. Used a cellphone torch to charge the lume. At least I'm relieved. For a while there ...

The "true" classic is the 3711/011. Dummy me bought a two-tone 3800 instead of the 3711 :(
The 3800 had one of the worst movements Patek ever made, split stem system and no Geneva Seal.

Here is mine with the Tiffany Stamp.
White dial is substantially rarer. Blue is great too and in the case of the 5711, you take what you can get!

Blue is beautiful, but I would prefer the white version.

I'm now considering doing a big sell off for a blue dial 5711. I saw one in person the other day and absolutely love it!

!8kt. bracelet watches are stunning and very expensive. They also scratch up very quickly.
From my own sad experience they are not everyday watches unless you wear a long sleeve shirt for work.
Stainless Steel can be worn every day and every night. Looks like white gold and is much more durable.

Blue is the only way to go on a Nautilus dial. Changes from a grey blue to a sort of aquamarine blue dependant on light.
