The "true" classic is the 3711/011. Dummy me bought a two-tone 3800 instead of the 3711 🙁
The 3800 had one of the worst movements Patek ever made, split stem system and no Geneva Seal.
That is the truth. I had one and the crown kept coming out in my hand. PP said it was easy to re-install with a little pressure and a twist. But, I never could do it. When I sold the watch, the crown was scotch taped to the front.

Again on my wrist today.

Noticed another hairline scratch between 8 and 9. So the scratch at 1 now has a companion.

I guess these battle scars make the watch your own.
