Sure, then I expect the warranty to fully cover the issue. We are talking about a diving watch, only12 months old, that get water inside.
Never seen a brand new 3 series leaving people stranded on the highway..
It's true!! Not really that big a deal. Have not idea what it was but the other X6 and the x5 cruised beautifully. Now I'm just waiting on my current lease to expire
Unfortunately these cars have too much technology and sometimes strange things happen. But in general BMWs are very reliable cars. I have done thousands of kilometres with them and never had an issue.
Lol I have. Then again there are 3 BMW dealerships within 10 miles of me and ones the largest in the US.
The number of cars with defects found after delivery is actually quite high. Even for BMW and MB. Hand builds like rolls... you would not believe what they find on delivery sometimes.

.... In any case....
Going back to watches, with my 15 years old Sea Dweller on the wrist I have jumped from the rocks in the sea from, surfed the waves in Indonesia, I dove in the seven seas and never had an issue.
Maybe I am just lucky then.
I always wonder how people can live through decades of life and still believe anything at all can be “flawless”.
Adding to @Archer if the policy was to upgrade a watch when a defect is found I recon we would all.of a sudden have a lot of defects appear around from people hoping they can get a 9g watch for 6g's
My point wasn’t to upgrade, it was to replace, and if the model was discontinued making replacement impossible, then provide the succeeding model (not necessarily a more expensive model). I agree it’s a ridiculous high bar to hold a company too, but some companies will do this. And it’s a watch, not a car. “Lemon” laws mandate replacement for when this happens. But I see everyone’s point.
