Flightmaster 145.013, who to use for service and gentle restoration in UK

Picked this up today. Overall, pretty straight, casback is from an 026 but movement serial etc checks out for 1969. Now, I do my own work on a lot of pieces but this has potential to be really lovely and I got it cheap enough to spend on getting a true specialist to thoroughly sort it.

Who in the UK would the forum recommend for comprehensive service, sympathetic relume of the hands etc.

For the service would say Simon Freese; if you do want reluming, best person is James Hyman

That was the name I was desperately trying to remember! Thanks

Having used them both I would certainly recommend James’ work, he’s amazing at what he does. I just had my Flightmaster serviced by WatchDoctor, they did a superb job and I’d happily recommend them

This was James’ handiwork on a Unimatic of mine. I wanted it to look like a Blancpain Bund diver. He used his aged lume with the Tritium like glow that fades quick. He can colour it anyway you want and can do normal luminova type glow
