The same flea market that produced the JB Champion for $10, produced a rather neat trinket box for the same amount.

It has some issues, but weighs a ton, has a great patina, and perfectly fits all of my straps.

Always cool to find a random object that can be applied to watches.

Anyone else find such things?

 

This week while I was out in Palm Springs looking for watches, I found this beer tap. I don't own a keggerator or drink Budweiser, but I had to buy it.

And yes, got a military discount from this thrift store.

I think I got the random part of your request, and sticking anything in a watch box makes it watch related. Merry Christmas.

When I bought it my Wife said " How much will you get for it " but I fell in love with it and kept it.
It's the reason I joined OF ( photo's on my first question ), it's also the only one I own.

It weighs 2.2lbs...been lightly cleaning it with qtips and saliva, makes a huge difference.

Well...looks like this might be somewhat of a turd. Upon close inspection and some research, I think it may be made of lead and plated!

Either way, I bought it because I like the look, and it does fit my straps.

At $10...worth a bit of a gamble. I did get a ca. 1865-70 Christofle beaker for $5 from the same dealer, so all is well.
