I haven't been to the market lately, but since my parents were in town, dad and I went this morning. Picked up a neat little oil painting for the wife for Mother's Day, and didn't find much else. On our way out, I made i down one last row in the crappy part of the market. In that area, was a new vendor who had spme watches and jewelry in a case. As I talked to the guy, I noticed he had a tutone GMT on. I asked if he was interested in selling...he said yes, and named his price. I told him I would take it, but needed to run to the ATM. Two hurried 100m dashes later, I was the new owner of a 8.6m 16753 with an unpolished case and near perfect J code jubilee. And who said there aren't deals left in the market! "Bloody hell" is what I said when I read this. For the rest I am speechless. Now I am thinking I should get out more. What a great find.
I guess sometimes you just need to ask! Good pickup mate - lets you know there are deals to be had, and reminds me I need to go to the markets a bit more often!
