1/ Will we all forget about the moon and the value of vintage speedmasters fall when humans step on mars?
2/ What watch will they wear?
3/ Will any of us live to see it?

^ Sure. I'm with blufin...I still don't think it will happen in any of our lifetimes... well not unless someone finds a new source of energy that can propel the massive shielding weight required to protect human DNA...(or alternatively a super light shielding material)....

There are already volunteers for a one way trip.
As for shielding from cosmic radiation and solar winds I figure a powerful magnetic field deflector screen will be the answer. In which case few mechanical watches would survive.
If the Earth did not have a relatively powerful magnetosphere life as we know it could never have developed here. Except perhaps in the deepest caverns or ocean floor.
Once on the surface of Mars well shielded habitats could be constructed.

1\ No. The moon landings will remain an epic human endeavour. Added to that, Speedmasters have a value beyond their links to space flight.
