·Please excuse me if this topic has already been discussed on this forum, but this is a special topic to me and I cannot stop posting this.
The TV series "Return of Ultraman" was where the Speedmaster Ultraman was used. While the original Ultraman and subsequent Ultra Seven seres were produced by Eiji Tsuburaya, the creator of the original Ultraman, the Return was a production of his sun, Hajime. It was unclear as to how the 145.012 with the orange hand was brought into the series but, the current consensus is that it was Tsuburaya's or one of the staff members' private watch.
This may be well known here but, I recently came across this picture which is a screenshot from an episode of the Ultra Seven series in 1967-68, my favorite Ultraman series. Isn't it 105.003? If so Ed White should be the fisrt Ultraman (or rather it's Ultra Seven) as the Return series was produced in the early 70s. In any case two Speedmaster models were used for those productions and somebody in the Tsuburaya family must have been a watch guy. Once again excuse me if this has already been talked about.
