First time buying an Omega Vintage.

Hello all!

I've only recently started getting into watches because it's my wedding soon and wanted a nice Vintage Omega - Low and behold I found the 'Fine Watch Club' in Norwich.
I have read through some threads regarding them etc and to be honest I'm okay with paying slightly over the odds for a watch as it's my first time and I just want a nice watch for my wedding.

I've narrowed it down to the following - https://finewatchclub.co.uk/product/omega-seamaster-1952-2 and https://finewatchclub.co.uk/product/omega-seamaster-501

I've gone through the information and double checked the serials etc and they all seem okay, with the correct movements. I'm not 'too' fussed with it being a completely original watch, I'm aware that some of the parts may not be original, and that's okay for my first watch. But I still want to pay a fair price for them.

Basically - Am I paying completely over the odds for these watches?

Thanks in advance.

Please post pictures not links...it helps for the now, and the future when links are broken.

I do not click on any links from unknown people.

If you have read the threads about this seller, you have already seen that they are not recommended. The watches are absurdly overpriced, they are generally poor examples, and there are multiple reports that the owner is unprofessional. Having read those threads, I would never consider buying from that shop.

Other than that, I'd also say that you have it backwards and are about to make the standard newbie mistake. IMO, you should worry less about price and more about condition.

Thank you both for your comments - In the future I will post pictures rather than links.

And okay - I will take my time and do some more research then, I don't want to make a massive mistake, like others have said - "If it's too good to be true".

Thanks again,
