Having lusted for a classic 2 line Sub for a very long time, I finally decided on a nice and clean '68 (23***** series) 5513 Submariner. Its also my first Rolex, and I am still in awe over the classic lines of this watch. In short, now I see what all the fuss is about thumbsup.gif

I find it looks great on a bracelet, but equally at home on a nice NATO; leather or nylon. And just to prove it, I'll hit you all with an avalanche of pictures chuckle.gif

And wearing some excellent Crown and Buckle NATO straps:

Apologies for all the pictures, I do tend to get carried away!

Congrats! Amazing looking watch.

I have also been drawn to ref 5512 and 5513 Rolex recently. Up until now I've had zero interest in Rolex but they are now on my short list.
