After drooling over the review of Ash's SM300 and my indecision to buy when it came up for sale, I subsequently found that Watchco had one for sale............and its now mine :) Just love it

So here are a couple of pics

The only reason I sold mine was that it was too similar to my very nice and original 1680 Submariner, if I didn't have that Rolex filling the 40mm diver slot, this would be my pick.

Looks great! Probably waterproof too, unlike a vintage one.

The watchcos tend not to pass pressure tests, there are apparently two ways to have them, either waterpoof with crowns that are very stiff, or not waterproof but with easy crowns. When I got mine it was the later, and it failed miserably

Interesting. I guess you could always buy a new crown if you wanted to.

Its a really lovely watch to wear and the bracelet is very flexible...almost feels soft :)

Mine has quite a stiff crown but I dont know if its waterproof however I'm not intending to use it for swimming, diving etc - for that I normally use one of my Seiko divers watches

Love it! My Watchco is currently off for a service but I'm hoping to get it back next week

Have you tried the 1171/633 combo on it? I'm a big big fan of that setup on the 300s
