Alright I'll be honest I've always been a Rolex fan and thought I would never get an omega. But in the past few weeks I've seen so many speedmasters on people, forums, and random articles that I started getting the itch.

I thought I was done with watches for at least a few years after getting my SubC and GMT2 BLNR but I was wrong. Since my last name is Moon I always felt I needed a moonwatch but got mesmerized by the Daytona as my future chronograph. But then after stumbling on speedmaster history I was totally obsessed. I started with whether or not I wanted the sapphire sandwich since I love display backs especially for such a beautiful movement! Every forum I read said the hesalite is absolutely critical. Eventually after seeing sapphire in person I realized the hesalite was the way to go.

But then I saw the 3572.50. Long story short I still want it and I'm looking for a NOS 3572.50. But in the mean time.....I emailed DavidSW and picked up a perfect speedmaster with all the extra goodies!

I took the bracelet off immediately and put on a nato then a dark brown Camille fournet gator strap. I love this watch!!!!!!

Oh by the way....DavidSW was awesome! Super easy to deal with and available at all times. He was very accommodating and patient with all my questions. Most importantly his product was exactly as advertised if not better!

The first few pics are from the ad. Let me say I've confirmed that the pics are real and not doctored to make the watch look better than it is. It's so nice to be able to fully trust a dealer without seeing him in person or seeing the watch in person. I highly recommend him and will be back again.

    Congrats and Enjoy!

I may be looking for a 3570.50 soon, to have something to install my new Mitsukoshi panda dial and handset. I don't want to try putting them on my vintage 145.022 model. I previously tried to buy a 3570.50 from DavidSW with the dial mod already done, but I missed it by a few hours.

The new ones do now yea, 3570.50 just had the old red box with the faux leather that peeled off, the new one is much more appropriate.

I didn't actually know DavidSW sold Omega, he was always a Rolex/AP kind of guy in the past.

Can't get enough of this watch! Thinking about trying leather straps....but I will say this gator combo is killer!

Any recs for curved leather straps?

Any recs for omega clasps? And where to find them?

Nice pickup there! David is top notch and hope to be dealing with him and a PP this year. He's very genuine and a true asset to the different forums.

Wear that Speedy in good health!

And I too really like the brown exotic. Really goes well together!!!

The Speedy looks good on a bracelet and just about any kind of strap, IMO. Very versatile.
