Hello everyone, I just purchased a Planet Ocean on ebay. I am waiting for it to arrive and I am extremely excited! I wanted to see what everyone's opinion was to the authenticity. I am pretty sure it is authentic and will have it checked out, with buyer protection I could always get my money back if necessary.

Queue critical “why did you buy before you asked if it was real?” responses...

    A. Your link doesn't seem to work. It goes to a listing of natural rubies.

    B. Your supposed to ask this question BEFORE you buy.

    C. Just my $0.02

Understandable, I was having issues registering and did not want to pass up this opportunity as the watch seemed to be mint.

Unfortunately, getting in a hurry is one of the quicker ways to lose your money. Based on my experience, patience is more than a virtue. It's also the guardian to your vault. Don't worry about losing out on one deal as there will always be another just around the corner.

I'm no expert, but I've looked at this watch far too many times to be healthy, and yours looks pretty good to me. Can't see it in the pics, but the dial on this model has a sort of gravelly / textured finish. Do you have any reason to suspect that it might not be authentic?

It is a ceramic dial, I do not have any reason to suspect that it is not authentic. It was purchased new from jomashop and does not have the warranty card, only the serial number card.

No, the dial on this model isn't ceramic. The ceramic ones have Zr02 stamped on them.

Hmmmm, the seller specifically told me that it was ceramic. This is a 42mm model as well..
