    Good Day,

Potentially will be an owner of a Planet Ocean Co-Ax. Wanted to ask the forum if there is anything I should be worried about based on photos. He only has the Pictogram why I was a little worried. The serial of watch and pictogram matches, Any help would be great thanks. 20190725_181041_resized.jpg 20190725_181109_resized.jpg 20190725_181114_resized.jpg 20190725_181127_resized.jpg 20190725_181152_resized.jpg 20190725_181214_resized.jpg

The warranty card is missing because this is a grey market watch, sold outside of the Omega dealer system, hence no warranty. Nothing inherently wrong with this if the price is adjusted accordingly. I see no issue as far as the pics are concerned.

There is a price difference for no warranty card in these? The first few years of these are already out of warranty.

Assume resale value is higher with a AD vs Gray market. I wish it had the chronometer card but it is what it is.

No, at the end of the days its a pre owned watch most likely out of warranty. If it is still under warranty as long as you say nothing to a Boutique it should be able to be serviced, just say you purchased it used from someone, do not mention the possibility of it being sold through a grey, you do not know this, you only know that you purchased it from someone else. At the end of the day Omega made the same money on a grey market as they did on a dealer sale. Grey Market just means a dealer had unsold allotment and sold it to a third party substantially under MSRP, there is no warranty card so the 3rd party does not show up on alot of warranty cards. The fact the card is there or not, does not affect its price on the secondary market that much at this time.

I am not sure that these shipped with the Chrono cert. , I seem to recall around this period that not all of them shipped with it. On the other hand you have the hang tag, and the newer box, not the red "leather" one.

Have you tried one of these on yet? They tend to sit high on the wrist and not everyone likes and/or can pull of that look.

I had the choice between this one and the preceding model and went with the earlier one as it sits lower on the wrist. I also personally prefer the 3 subdials. While dial detailing is slightly better on this and later ones.

Always loved that combo. I have a 7" wrist but always loved wearing a 44-45mm size even though I should be wearing a 40-41mm lol

Does the newer box have any meaning? Year of purchase maybe?

    Not necessarily.

As for wrist size... I’m 6’4 and can wear the first gen 45.5. My 4’11 ex wore a 48mm DKNY ceramic and it worked on her, not on me. My current gf can pull of watches that wear big on me, like the 42mm seiko field dial with long lugs , but can’t wear the my SKX which is technically a bigger watch but has narrow lug to lug.

It’s all proportional and personal style. I can’t pull of oversized watches, some people can.
